PFERD cancels participation in the Hardware Fair
Customer cancellations and the concern for the safety of all people involved lead PFERD to retreat the trade fair attendance
In the last few days, PFERD has received a lot of messages from customers who have cancelled their visit to the hardware fair and the PFERD stand, reports PFERD CEO Jörn Bielenberg. The cancellations were mostly due to the still great uncertainty caused by the coronavirus.
"After intensive consideration and weighing up all factors, we then decided to cancel our participation in the hardware fair," says Bielenberg. The non-attendance of many other exhibitors has also been a factor in the end.
PFERD had already completed its trade fair planning and was looking forward to presenting many new products, including a world first. "We believed in a successful participation in the fair until the very end", the PFERD CEO explains the late decision, "but in the end, we have to prioritize the health and safety of all people involved. We deeply regret the cancellation.“
The new products, which were planned to be presented at the hardware fair, will soon be presented in a different way.

1) Why did PFERD cancel its participation in the trade fair?
The rapid spread of the current coronavirus disease has caused uncertainty among many trade fair participants. Both exhibitors and trade fair visitors have decided against participating as a means of minimizing the risk of infection. PFERD prioritizes the health of its employees and customers and as a result, has decided not to participate in the trade fair to reduce the likelihood of them being infected to a minimum.
2) Will the 2020 Hardware Fair Cologne take place anyway

3) Are the tickets I received from PFERD still valid?
Of course you can redeem the vouchers you received from us and attend the trade fair as planned.
