New Disc Brushes with M14 Threaded Hub
Alongside the existing range of disc brushes with centre hole for stationary use on CNC machines, machining centers and use of robots, PFERD now offers the specialists for surface finishing and deburring a M14 threaded hub. This means the brushes can be used with all standard speed-controlled angle grinders.
The cast brushes are characterised by a higher aggressiveness as the construction allows a much higher filament density in comparison to standard brushes. They are suitable for use on stainless steel (INOX) and aluminum as well as for roughening plastic surfaces.
PFERD is initially offering two different types with a square and round SiC filament. Brushes with a 75 mm-ø have a supporting ring. The supporting ring prevents the filament from unravelling and increases the aggressiveness of the brushes. If the filament up to the supporting ring is used up, it is removed thereby releasing the remaining filament and can be fully used.
