PFERD cancels participation in International Hardware Fair Cologne
Customer cancellations and regard for the continued health of all participants lead to PFERD cancelling trade fair appearance.
This week, PFERD has received messages from many customers who have cancelled their visit to the International Hardware Fair Cologne and the PFERD stand, reported PFERD CEO Jörn Bielenberg. Most cancellations were due to uncertainty caused by the current outbreak of coronavirus disease.
“After thorough consideration and weighing all factors, we have decided to withdraw our participation in Hardware Fair Cologne,” said Bielenberg. The fact that many other exhibitors will not participate also played a role in the decision.
PFERD completed its planning for the trade fair and was looking forward to presenting many new products, including a world first. “Until now, we believed we would successfully exhibit at the trade fair,” said the PFERD CEO to explain the late decision. “However, we ultimately had to prioritize the health of all those participating. We deeply regret that we must withdraw.”
The company will soon find an alternative way of launching the new products, which were actually intended to be presented at International Hardware Fair Cologne.
